CONTROVENTO. (HEADWIND.) - Short Film

Marcello is a professional runner. The day before an important race, he falls violently ill and spends the whole day (and night) searching for Stefano, whom he believes to be the cause of his sickness.

Controvento. started as an experiment while I was back in Italy earlier this year and eventually grew into a more developed project. Based on a script with no dialogue lines, it became a deep collaboration between the director and the actors. The film was shot entirely in one day, using a vintage tape camera.
